Pre-Construction Meeting

The staff of RBO Custom Home Builders will meet with you at your convenience to discuss the construction of your new home. It is not necessary that you have a formal house plan at this meeting.

Choosing Your Building Site

If you do not own, or have not chosen your building site, RBO can help with your lot purchase. Our company has access to most new subdivisions, as well as access to the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) to locate the most desirable building sites in St. Tammany Parish.

If you are purchasing your lot, it is not necessary that you pay for the lot before construction begins. Your lot will simply become part of your total construction loan.

Designing Your House Plans

Our staff stands ready to design your new home with both your budget and lifestyle in mind. Once your "preliminary" plans are complete, RBO will prepare a complete "line item" cost breakdown of both labor and material covering every item in your new home assuring there will be no cost overruns.

Financing

RBO works with many Lenders assuring our clients the best possible rates. Our unique "one time" loan application is designed to assure you the least amount of time and hassle when applying for your new home loan.

Building Your New Home

Now that your new home is ready to be built, you can rely of RBO's professional staff to guarantee quality construction. A full time superintendent will be assigned to your new job. Your superintendent will be equipped with a beeper as well as a cellular phone and available at any time, whether simply to answer a few questions or meet you at your building site. On your part, an occasional "site inspection" should be all that's required to assure yourself that everything is going in accordance with plans and specifications.

Our Commitment

With over 35 years experience building quality homes in St. Tammany area, RBO offers a unique program providing custom-built homes designed for your family's lifestyle in mind.  Most importantly we maintain a small manageable company, staffed with dedicated professionals eager to work with you.  To assure our clients the absolute best quality and value in their new home, we limit our construction program to around 20 homes at any one time.   By doing so, we are able to give EVERY SINGLE ONE OF OUR HOMES our undivided attention.

To accomplish this, we have a construction operations staff of five project managers and quality assurance personnel that will manage no more than four homes under construction at a time. By operating this way, you can look at our company as only having no more than four homes under construction at any given time.
